Jasmine Nichols

Owner & Certified Personal Trainer

Received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis. Certified from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with a Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Has a nutritional certification from Partners in Health School of Nutrition in California, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate, Insured through the National Health Club Association with Personal Trainers Liability insurance.

Raised in Aptos, California, I moved to San Francisco in 1998. I am a former uber-glutton, bartender, booze hound, fast food hoarding, overweight guy who turned fighter. I decided to enroll in NPTI to become a personal trainer and nutritional consultant and completely overhauled my body. I ran a marathon on a dare, became an avid bike rider, and then settled into the world of MMA. Through practice, determination, and my knowledge of strength and conditioning, I was able to train with some of the top fighters in the Bay Area, who utilized me for my ability to push them in their preparation for their next fight.

NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a focus on strength and flexibility training. Majoring in
Psychology, decided to become a personal trainer after learning about the many psychological
benefits of exercise to the health and happiness of one’s mind. I have experience with Modern
and Latin Dance, Aerial dance arts, specifically Tissu, and played women’s flag football for
charity. Broad understanding of various types of training whether to build muscle, train for an
event or specific activity, correct movement patterns and muscle imbalances, or just for one’s
overall health. Progressive focus on using Kettlebells, Barbells, and TRX suspension training to
develop balance, strength and flexibility throughout the body.

Pilates has allowed me to manage my Rheumatoid Arthritis, speed my recovery while increasing mobility and strengthen my core from abdominal surgery, a hysterectomy, and a rotator cuff repair. I understand the hurdles that life gives us. As a Pelvic Floor & Oncology Exercise Counselor, I empathize with our body's limitations. Together we will create a plan to strengthen your pelvic floor and core, increase flexibility and movement in your daily life.
